Specific observations make routing easier
A message that says “my cat needs grooming” gives the team very little to plan from. A concise structured history can reveal urgency, time, staffing, and whether veterinary input may be needed.
- 1
Describe the visible problem
Mats, grease, dandruff, odor, loose coat, contamination, claw length, or a desired haircut.
- 2
Describe the cat
Age, approximate weight, coat type, medical conditions, medication, mobility, and current appetite or stability.
- 3
Describe prior care
What was attempted, what the cat did, what helped, what escalated, and where the appointment ended.
- 4
Name the priority
Examples: remove a painful pelt, restore hygiene, shorten claws, reduce shedding, or establish maintenance.
