Pricing and planning

Start with a clear entry price, then let the actual care requirement set the final scope.

Cat grooming is not a uniform unit of labor. Coat density, matting, hygiene, body size, health, behavior, staffing, and appointment duration all affect what the team must provide.

Current starting points

What the booking menu begins with

These are orientation prices rather than universal quotes. The booking team can help choose the category, but some variables remain unknown until the cat is present.

Full TANDEM Cat® grooming

$129
Current starting point for comprehensive feline grooming. The final total can change with time, coat condition, staffing, service components, and complexity.

Cat nail trim

$45
Current starting point for routine claw shortening. Advanced overgrowth, embedded claws, tissue findings, or additional handling needs may change scope.

Complex coat care

Quoted from the cat and coat presentation
Severe matting, full-body pelting, contamination, extensive clipping, or staged care cannot be priced accurately from a service name alone.

What can change cost

The price follows the work required

The most important question is not whether a cat fits a label. It is what staffing, time, equipment, coat removal, bathing, drying, handling adaptation, and follow-up the appointment requires.

Coat condition

Dense undercoat, mats, pelting, contamination, or difficult-to-access skin can add time and technical risk.

Care team

Some cats need additional hands for body support, observation, positioning, or safe tool work.

Service sequence

Bathing, drying, clipping, deshedding, claw care, and hygiene work may be combined or staged.

Endpoint

The team may prioritize urgent function rather than adding time solely to produce a cosmetic finish.

Before booking

Information that improves the estimate

Clear photos and history reduce surprises, though they cannot reveal everything beneath dense or matted coat.

  1. 1

Photograph the full body and close concerns

Include side views, top view, belly or hindquarters when safely visible, and the coat against a familiar size reference.

  2. 2

    Describe what your hands feel

Note hard plates, ridges, webbing, grease, odor, debris, skin tension, or areas the cat will not allow you to touch.

  3. 3

    Share the care context

Include age, weight, medical conditions, medications, mobility, prior grooming, and whether the change was sudden.
